  • How often can someone come for help?
    Individuals and families are allowed to come for help once a month.
  • Is there a means test that people have to pass?
    We do not have a means test; however, everyone fills out a form and we keep pertinent information in a database. We require our clients to provide proof of address, dependents and other important information.
  • How many people does COPE Food Bank help?
    We help on average more than 250 families or about 540 individuals each month.
  • Are your donation receipts tax deductible?
    Yes, COPE is registered with Revenue Canada as a charitable organization and therefore is able to provide tax receipts for any monetary donations. Our charitable number is 118901297RR0001
  • Are the financial accounts of COPE Food Bank audited?
